Before I talked about leveraging content creation from other people by using email. Now I’d like to talk about automatically publishing it onto your blog with WordPress’ publish to post feature.
First, all you would have to do is forward the particular email address to the WordPress created email to post address that it creates.
In a self hosted wordpress blog, you have to create your own email account and register it. But a free wordpress.com site will provide you with a email.
To set up automatic publishing by email do the following:
- Login to WordPress
- Under Settings, click on Writing tab
- You will see Post via e-mail
- Fill in your email information or create one
- Thats it
Just remember to forward emails to this address and they will be automatically posted to your blog.
